Berkshire’s Class B shares outpace S&P 500 so far this year

Berkshire Hathaway’s Class B shares gained 13.6% so far this year, compared with 7.8% for the S&P 500. Since Oct. 1, Berkshire rose 14% while the index fell 4%.
