OpenAI is reportedly holding back a new Astra version while adding guardrails

A September 30 post says OpenAI is holding back a new version of its Astra model while adding guardrails after what it calls “rogue hackings.” It says OpenAI will create a task force to review breaches of Australian government websites. A separate post asks when resignations of senior and safety leaders at AI firms will prompt legislators to make those firms slow down.
