BT reportedly reaches rescue deal for broadband provider TalkTalk

Sky News reports BT reached an overnight agreement with TalkTalk’s largest creditor on a rescue deal. The planned pre-pack administration would transfer TalkTalk’s wholesale and consumer businesses to BT, along with an expected 900 employees. Creditors are unlikely to recover hundreds of millions of pounds they are owed, and shareholders would be wiped out.
