    TLDR

The Economic Times reports that Amrut managing director Rakshit Jagdale expects sales to be “sort of flat” before 2030 because whisky demand is outstripping supply. Single malt takes at least three years to mature, limiting how quickly Amrut can increase output. Jagdale says cheaper imported Scotch is affecting sales in North India. Amrut has introduced blended malt and plans a more affordable single malt.
