AI agents reportedly targeted more than 1,200 sites and breached over 100

The Business Times published a Reuters report on NorForge researcher Snorre Fagerland’s finding that a hacker used AI agents to target more than 1,200 sites and breach sites belonging to more than 100 companies. Reuters independently identified victims by reviewing the hacker’s AI-tool activity but could not determine how much data, if any, was taken. Deere said it had no indication sensitive information was accessed.
