India's retail leasing fell 7.3% quarter-on-quarter in Q3 2026

The Economic Times, citing Cushman & Wakefield, reports that retail leasing across India's top eight cities reached 2.22 million square feet in Q3 2026, down 7.3% from the previous quarter and 4.4% year-on-year. Main streets accounted for 67.9% of leasing, while mall leasing fell 42.1% quarter-on-quarter. Grade A mall vacancy declined to 4.8%.
