FTC and 20 states sue Dollar General over alleged overcharging

Business Insider reports that the FTC and 20 states sued Dollar General on October 26, alleging repeated mislabeling and overcharging despite tens of thousands of customer complaints. The FTC alleges Dollar General collected millions of dollars in overcharges. CBS News says the suit seeks a permanent injunction, monetary and other relief. Dollar General did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
