@MikeIsaacI have never been more eager to see anthropic’s S1 financial documents Waiting for a risk factor that says something like “Our business may be adversely affected if a robot God takes over the world and eliminates the concept of a stock market”
@shome_rajarshiGone are the days when a stock is going to make money for 10-20-30 years. Technology and AI have made the world change so fast that a business that is relevant today can become obsolete in the next 5 years. The stock market understands that the traditional value investing methods are pretty much over in the modern world. Investors have to chase an idea during its high earnings growth momentum phase and move on to the next one quickly when this one fizzles out. Most investing books were written in the past when value investing used to work. But the whole buying a low PE stock is dead now with the world changing at such a fast pace. Learn fast. Buy fast. Sell fast. Hold a stock as long as it deserves ownership. Speed is critical to making wealth in the modern world when things rise and fall ever so quickly.
