Russian strikes reportedly hit Ukrainian steel plants and power infrastructure overnight

On October 17, Reuters reported that Russia’s defence ministry said it had carried out a large-scale overnight attack on Ukrainian infrastructure. The ministry said it hit steel plants and power infrastructure; the reported targets included Ukraine’s largest steelworks, in Kryvyi Rih.
