Embraer and Mahindra identify Nagpur for potential C-390 assembly line

Reuters reports in The Economic Times that Embraer and Mahindra have identified Nagpur, India, for a potential C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft assembly line. Embraer says the project depends on the aircraft’s selection for the Indian Air Force’s Medium Transport Aircraft programme. The proposed facility would cover assembly, system integration, manufacturing engineering and local supply chain development. Embraer expects India to order 60 to 80 aircraft.
