Musk says the cost of serving Grok Bot was ‘unsustainably high’ relative to revenue

After Grok Bot users on X said their weekly allowances ran out sooner than expected, Musk called its serving costs “unsustainably high relative to revenue.” Less than two weeks earlier, he had called the SpaceX AI agent the fastest-growing product he had seen. SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell said it had 800,000 paid weekly users in early October, more than double the previous month. Musk did not say whether subscriber limits had been lowered.
