South Africa's diesel price to fall by up to R1.20 a litre; petrol by 1 cent
South Africa will cut fuel levies by R3 for diesel and R1.50 for petrol per litre from November 4.
TLDR
Wholesale diesel prices will fall by up to R1.20 per litre from November 4, while regulated petrol prices will drop by 1 cent. The larger fuel-levy cuts run through December 1, followed by smaller reductions until January 5, 2027. South Africa's petroleum department said higher crude oil and petroleum product prices and a weaker rand contributed to the monthly price adjustments.
