Wednesday’s Brussels talks brought Ukraine and European allies together with US officials to discuss economic recovery. The European Commission had said France, Germany, the UK, NATO and the World Bank would join the meeting. An EU official speaking anonymously said security guarantees and reconstruction support would also be discussed; the Commission had not identified the US attendees beforehand.
