Airbnb to limit guest cleaning chores for reservations booked from November 20

Good Morning America reports Airbnb’s new policy applies to reservations booked on or after November 20, 2026. Hosts generally cannot require guests to strip beds, wash and put away dishes, or take trash offsite, though they can ask guests to place used dishes in the sink. USA TODAY reports house rules and requests must be visible before booking, with no new ones added afterward.
