Airbus plans a near-term decision on higher A350 output
Reuters reports in The Economic Times that exceeding 12 to 13 A350s a month would require a new assembly line.
TLDR
Reuters reports in The Economic Times that Airbus commercial CEO Lars Wagner expects a board decision “sooner rather than later” on increasing A350 production. Wagner said demand makes the increase inevitable, but going beyond the current plant’s capacity of 12 to 13 jets a month would require a new assembly line and industrial system. Airbus is also studying larger versions of the A350 and A220.
