Indonesia won't export electricity to Singapore without an acceptable price
Energy Minister Bahlil Lahadalia says domestic electricity needs take priority if buyers cannot meet Indonesia's pricing terms.
TLDR
Bahlil said Indonesia needs its electricity and cannot export it in the near future. He later said exports to Singapore remain possible if the price meets Indonesia's requirements. The pricing dispute clouds plans for up to 3.4 gigawatts of low-carbon electricity trade, with both countries working to bring projects into operation by 2035.
