Jury selection begins in Meta and Snap trial over social media addiction claims

Jury selection began October 28 in Los Angeles, CBS News reports. Two young plaintiffs allege Meta and Snap designed features that kept them hooked and harmed their mental health. CBS says Meta has settled with one plaintiff, while both companies dispute the allegations. ABC News reports that Mark Zuckerberg, Evan Spiegel and Instagram head Adam Mosseri are expected to testify in November.
