Honda reportedly reworks India strategy amid cost pressures and deadlock

Reuters reports that cost pressures and deadlock are forcing Honda to rework its India strategy. Citing two people familiar with the matter, it says Honda aims to cut costs by as much as a fifth and halve development times under a new partnership with Tata Technologies, as pressure from rivals pushes it to rethink its go-it-alone approach.
