TLDR

In a September 19, 2026 post, a user says they spoke that week with dozens of truckers and farmers in Ontario and Manitoba. They claim diesel prices were 125% higher than a year earlier and warn of wider inflationary effects.

A separate post uses imagined dialogue among countries to portray Europe struggling to secure diesel. It points to attacks on Russian refineries and Middle Eastern refineries operating below full capacity, while portraying potential Indian supplies as only a “band aid.”

@JuneGoh_SpartaEurope: I need diesel. Russian refinerines are still getting attacked, Middle East refineries still not at full capacity. Please help. US: Diesel markets are global man, I need to take care of my prices too. Europe: Ok anyone else? Asia??? India: Arbs are open, I am on it. US is the biggest diesel exporter of the world though, my volumes are going to be band aid only. China: *radio silence* The rest of Asia: Margins need to make it work. Currently still not yet. Europe: Ok then, I will max out my own refining kit in the meantime. Saudi: We have a problem. #oott
@GasPriceWizardAnd I’ve spoken to dozens of truckers and farmers from Ontario and Manitoba this week. They are crushed by diesel prices that are now 125% higher than a year ago The fuel on which our economy depends, is now out of reach, triggering an inflationary avalanche
@lakyop29255@MoloWarMonitor This is probably in reference to the worsening energy crises, Saudi Arabia has canceled millions of barrels of oil to Europe. People will probably demand peace with Russia to get cheap oil and gas again. This winter will be much worse than 2022.
