Singapore factory activity keeps growing in October, but at a slower pace
Singapore’s manufacturing PMI fell to 51.4 from 51.7 in September as growth in new orders slowed.
TLDR
Factories expanded for a 15th consecutive month, with the October PMI still above the 50-point threshold for growth. Electronics PMI also eased, falling from 52.9 to 52.5. Analysts said AI-linked demand continued to support the sector and cautioned that it was too early to conclude a prolonged slowdown had begun.
