Singapore's IMDA issues Simba show-cause notice over alleged intentional spectrum misuse

The Straits Times reports that Simba's parent, Tuas, disclosed an IMDA show-cause notice alleging intentional, management-approved spectrum misuse. The allegations cover intermittent use at about 133 sites in 2022–23 and about 92 sites in 2023–26. Simba intends to respond by November 16. Possible sanctions include a fine or suspension of its spectrum rights or operating licence. Tuas says no findings have been made.
