The Economic Times reports that Claude Opus 5, Sonnet 5 and Haiku 4.5 are available with in-country inference through Amazon Bedrock in India. Prompts and responses sent through the India endpoint are processed on Indian servers, a capability aimed at organizations with data-residency requirements. Anthropic India managing director Irina Ghose said some deployments awaiting local inference could now move forward.
