@ACFER01ACFMorningMeeting - Saudi Oil Price Promotion - Whilst OPEC+ has kept November output targets unchanged, Saudi Arabia has stepped in with a 'price promotion' on its Light oil - it has widened its Arab Light discount to Asia to $5/bbl below the regional benchmark. Brent slipped below $102/bbl, easing input-cost pressure. In Europe, French debt stress weighed on continental sentiment. Opens - FTSE 100 futures were +0.26%, while EURO STOXX 50 futures were -0.18% and DAX futures -0.08%. US futures were slightly lower. The Nikkei gained 2.3% and Hong Kong was broadly flat; mainland China and South Korea were closed. $STOXX $FTSE $FTMC $DAX $CAC $DJI $GSPC $IXIC Stock Watch - BT Group $BT.A has agreed a deal to acquire TalkTalk and PlatformX out of administration. The YE27E cash impact is estimated at c.£400m; the acquired business generated ~£1.2bn revenue but was loss-making. National Grid $NG.L expects YE27 EPS growth slightly above its previous 13-15% guidance after c.£130m of additional 1H performance, largely from one-off investment gains and stronger interconnectors. Permanent TSB $PTSB.L said Axis has made no offer and remains focused on BAWAG’s shareholder-approved bid. Commods - Brent $101.76/bbl -0.5%, WTI $90.25/bbl -0.9%, GOLD futures $4,182/toz +0.5% and COPPER futures $6.585/lb +0.1%. Latest 2 Oct New York COCOA settlement was $5,843/MT +6.4%. Indicative SUGAR was 19.93¢/lb +5.1% on tighter supply expectations and wet-Brazil concerns; COFFEE was 288.75¢/lb +0.9% as a weaker dollar and Brazilian flowering risk triggered more short-covering. Data Focus - UK final services and composite PMIs are due at 09:30 BST, euro-area producer prices at 10:00 BST and US ISM services at 15:00 BST. ACFView: Lower oil and reduced Fed-hike expectations help duration-sensitive shares, but French debt stress and a US 10-year yield above 5.2% limit the case for a broad valuation lift. @WizardBattery @EU_Startups @Share_Talk @ZaksTradersCafe @zakmir @VOXmarkets @focusIR @LondonSouthEast @BullsNBearsWA @ArthurBenta @aimrns47m
