Irish bookshops help supply Sally Rooney novels to Britain after Faber halts UK distribution

Rooney announced plans to donate her UK book earnings to Palestine Action, which Britain banned in 2025. Faber says it cannot transfer those earnings to her and halted UK distribution in agreement with Rooney. Little Acorns Bookstore in Londonderry orders copies through suppliers in the Republic of Ireland and ships to customers, including in Britain. Rooney's books themselves are not banned, and British shops can still sell copies they already hold.
