CrowdStrike launches AI agent kill switch and agrees to buy two security startups
CrowdStrike says its Falcon Guardian tool can stop misbehaving internal agents, block relaunches and cut enterprise network access.
TLDR
CrowdStrike says the new Falcon Guardian feature detects internal AI agent activity, but a human must decide whether it is benign or malicious before shutting an agent down. The company also agreed to acquire Fiddler AI, which helps companies monitor AI systems, and Dreadnode, which tests them for security vulnerabilities. The two deals have a combined purchase price of $495 million.
