KFC and Pizza Hut operator Devyani International's Q2 loss narrows sharply

Devyani International's consolidated net loss shrank to 2.4 million rupees from 218.9 million rupees a year earlier. Revenue rose 10.4% to 15.19 billion rupees, while expenses increased 8.3%. Stronger KFC same-store sales helped offset higher raw material costs. Chairman Ravi Jaipuria warned that firmer food inflation and rising interest rates could keep discretionary spending under pressure.
