Wildfire haze disrupts Indonesian flights and Malaysia’s tourism bookings

The Jakarta Post reports that Indonesia’s Transportation Ministry recorded 2,604 scheduled domestic flights affected by forest and land fires as of October 19, including 1,129 delays and 1,420 cancellations or postponements. Bloomberg says tourism operators in Malaysia were seeing fewer bookings for that time of year, and some cancellations, as haze disrupted flights and obscured attractions.
