Typhoon Dujuan rain reportedly breaches embankments at Chiba lake

The Japan Times reports that heavy rain from Typhoon Dujuan breached embankments at Inbanuma in Chiba Prefecture, severely damaging fish farms and produce warehouses. The report says most of about 50,000 eels cultured by the Inbanuma fisheries cooperative in Narita are believed to have died or been swept away.
