Reuters, in a report published by The Economic Times, says Longi Green Energy, Trina Solar, Jinko Solar, JA Solar and Tongwei employed 154,061 people at the end of 2025, down 40,589 from a year earlier. Their combined workforce also fell 31% in 2024. None of the companies publicly announced layoffs over the two years.
