L&T in talks to sell minority stake in clean energy arm to Itochu

The Economic Times reports that Larsen & Toubro is discussing a minority stake sale in its clean energy unit to Japan’s Itochu. An L&T executive said the talks cover equity participation alongside green ammonia offtake, but did not disclose a potential stake size. The companies are partnering on a planned 300,000-tonne-a-year green ammonia project at Kandla, which L&T sees as an export hub for green hydrogen derivatives.
