NBA names Kalshi and Polymarket its preferred prediction market exchanges

The NBA designated Kalshi and Polymarket as its preferred prediction market exchanges, CNBC and Bloomberg report. Bloomberg says the deal includes official NBA data licensing, limits on permissible markets, information-sharing to flag suspicious trades and a ban on trading by league and team personnel. CNBC reports the NBA also signed an information-sharing memorandum with the CFTC, amid a dispute over whether states or federal authorities regulate sports event contracts.
