Brookfield denies cutting Soilbuild out of Mapletree deal

The Business Times reports that Soilbuild alleges Brookfield breached an agreement over a property deal the companies were allegedly meant to pursue as a joint venture. Soilbuild also alleges Brookfield wrongfully used its confidential information and know-how. The dispute concerns Brookfield’s 2025 purchase of three Singapore properties from Mapletree Industrial Trust for S$535.3 million. Brookfield denies cutting Soilbuild out and says it bid in its own name.
