BYD extends sales growth streak to six months in October as overseas shipments more than double from a year earlier

BYD sold 490,168 vehicles in October 2026, up 11% from a year earlier and extending its sales growth streak to six months. Overseas shipments reached 170,194, more than double the year-earlier level and equivalent to about 35% of total vehicle sales. Overall sales growth cooled from September's 17% amid sluggish demand and intense price competition in China.
