Modi calls for a global system to stop cyber fraud before it reaches users

The Economic Times reports that Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the GSMA and global telecom operators to create a mechanism to stop cyber fraud before it reaches users. Speaking at India Mobile Congress, he said criminals can operate in one country, enlist help in another and target victims in a third. He called for governments, technology companies and financial institutions to work together, too.
