Balancing focus and scale in Honeywell's three-company split

Semafor says Vimal Kapur took on Honeywell's split into three companies after nearly four decades there. Kapur says the challenge is gaining the advantages of focus without losing the benefits of scale. He says he tries to spend roughly a third of his time with customers to test major decisions and believes CEOs should bring a founder's mindset to products and innovation.
