Fed plans to overhaul US bank supervision responsibilities

Reuters reports that Bowman, the Fed’s top regulatory official, said the central bank plans to overhaul how it supervises US banks. The new model would replace one that assigns regional bank presidents oversight of examinations and would be more accountable to Washington.
