Airbnb unlikely to let outside AI agents book stays

Nikkei Asia reports that Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky said the platform is unlikely to let outside AI agents, such as Meta Platforms’ Muse, book accommodations for users. Chesky argued that planning travel is entertainment; Nikkei Asia says travel companies are concerned AI assistants could weaken their direct engagement with customers.
