Asia could face sustained inflation pressure into 2027

The Japan Times reports that, according to the Asian Development Bank, wars in Europe and the Middle East and a severe El Niño are amplifying price pressures across Asia. Those pressures are likely to fan inflation through 2027 and keep central banks on guard.
