Toyota Kirloskar Motor plans to expand Bidadi production capacity from early 2027

A senior Toyota Kirloskar Motor executive told PTI the company wants to shorten waits for certain models as it increases production. PTI's report in The Economic Times says the third Bidadi plant will have capacity of 1 lakh units a year, including the HyCross, alongside two existing plants with combined annual capacity of 3.42 lakh units. The company is also setting up a 1 lakh-unit-a-year plant in Maharashtra, expected by the first half of 2029.
