TLDR

The Economic Times reports that Southern Infrastructure has reached an in-principle lending agreement with Private Capital Group, a fund manager approved under New Zealand’s Active Investor Plus visa programme. The proposed loan of around NZ$265 million would draw partly on visa investor money. The cable car would link central Queenstown with Frankton, the airport and Ladies Mile. Financing remains subject to due diligence, credit approval and final documentation.
