India and Switzerland sign migration and mobility pact

PTI reports in The Economic Times that India and Switzerland signed a migration and mobility pact and a young professionals agreement on October 5. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the agreements would open opportunities in Switzerland for Indian students, researchers and professionals. The countries also agreed to expand Swiss market access for Indian exports and deepen nuclear energy cooperation. Modi said they identified possibilities for military exchanges and defence production.
