India's chief economic adviser calls for more long-term pension savings

The Economic Times, publishing an ANI report, says chief economic adviser V Anantha Nageswaran urged India to encourage households to put more of their savings into long-term pension products. He said market-linked investments have risen without pension savings keeping pace, and called for simpler products, wider access and retirement income that keeps up with inflation.
