Alibaba wins injunction against Pentagon contract restrictions tied to China blacklist

The Straits Times, carrying a Reuters report, says an Oct. 26 injunction bars the US from denying Pentagon contracts to companies because they do business with firms lobbying for Alibaba. The ruling does not remove Alibaba from the Pentagon list of companies allegedly aiding China’s military. Alibaba denies military ties and continues to challenge its designation.
