Property market crisis reportedly hits high earners, too

Handelsblatt reports that the property market crisis is now affecting high earners. It cites experts who expect the number of new builds in 2026 to be 10% below 2025’s already weak level, and says the growing number of one- and two-person households is worsening the housing problem.
