Brent crude reportedly near $106 a barrel

Spectator Index put Brent crude at $105.90 a barrel on October 14, compared with $60 on January 1. A separate post quoted CNN as saying average US gasoline prices had risen about 46% since the Iran war began in late February, driven largely by war-related disruptions to global oil markets.
