Swiss National Bank posts 44.2 billion-franc profit for first nine months of 2026

Bloomberg and CNBC report that the Swiss National Bank made 44.2 billion francs in profit from January through September 2026. CNBC puts third-quarter profit at 19.1 billion francs, with gains from gold and foreign-currency positions, though the quarterly result was almost 32% lower than a year earlier.
