Anthropic in advanced talks for ~$45B AI computing deal with Nscale

Kobeissi Letter, citing Bloomberg, says Anthropic is in talks to buy $45 billion of computing power from Nvidia-backed Nscale, a deal that could bolster Nscale’s IPO prospects. Another post describes it as a second $45 billion computing deal and says the agreement could secure 460 megawatts of capacity in West Virginia, access to Nvidia’s Vera Rubin GPUs and a right of first refusal on a potential third building.
