Anthropic reportedly recorded an $80.7 billion net loss in the first half of 2026

The Economic Times, citing The Wall Street Journal’s review of a draft IPO prospectus, reports that Anthropic lost $80.7 billion in the first half of 2026. The Journal says $72 billion of that reflected accounting charges tied to convertible notes and other financial instruments. It also reported revenue of $16.3 billion for the period, up from $1.1 billion a year earlier, and nearly $9 billion in computing and infrastructure spending.
