Bloomberg reports Greenbriar Equity Group is nearing a deal to acquire Spectrum Control for more than $1.8 billion, citing people familiar with the matter. Bloomberg says a deal would be a rare win in 2026 for private equity investors in aerospace and defense, where sizable businesses have been bought by larger competitors or gone public.
