Semafor expands co-chair roster for Silicon Valley & The World

Semafor named OpenAI CEO Sam Altman a co-chair of Silicon Valley & The World alongside Nvidia’s Jensen Huang, ICONIQ’s Divesh Makan, Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, Alphabet and Google’s Ruth Porat, and AMD’s Lisa Su. Semafor says the multi-year initiative aims to connect technology leaders with policymakers. It says the expanded board includes more than 50 global figures and plans to convene more than 350 founders, CEOs, investors and policymakers in November 2026.
